Hello! My name is Mariah and this is my third year at Bethany! I am majoring in elementary education with a concentration in social studies and an endorsement in special education. I was on the cheer squad my freshman and sophomore year and served as captain. I am in MANY different organizations and activities. I help with a freshman seminar class as an ARC, am an ambassador, orientation leader, a member of habitat for humanity, in the Gold Key honor society, and some other random activities! When school isn’t keeping me busy, I like to hang out with my friends, eat ice cream, listen to music, and play guitar hero (yes I play on expert)!
I’m originally from Smith Center, Kansas, a little place with small-town morals. Therefore, I am a small town girl at heart and know how to entertain myself and make the most of things! I enjoy reading; Nicholas Sparks and Harry Potter are my all time favorites! Also, like any college student, I enjoy watching movies. Shoe shopping is also up there on my list of favorite things to do! I’m a down-to-earth girl with a bubbly personality and I love meeting new people.
